My only request for a complimentary welcome gift was ignored. Breakfast was adequate, I suppose, but I still expected more. The dark narrow road to the hotel was an absolute hassle, just saying I am highly disappointed.

Breakfast was hearty and delicious, truly enjoyed the position.
Gorgeous and incredible location in the hills with lovely country walks around, met needs well. I got complimentary double room with view over the well-kept grounds as an upgrade, nice gesture.

Amazing stay at a castle-like retreat!
What a find! The rooms were cozy with fine views of the countryside. We loved the breakfast spread, especially the homemade jams! Only thing was the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times. Still, the serene walks along the river made up for it. Perfect for a romantic getaway!
